On Monday, head coach Jason Candle, quarterback Tucker Gleason, and linebacker Daniel Bolden answered questions about the GameAbove Sports Bowl versus Pittsburgh, contradicting bowl game opinions in the playoff-or-bust/opt-out era.
“Everybody wants to win their last game,” Candle said. “I think that’s really hard, obviously, without the bowl set up. There’s only one basketball team that really does that each and every year.”
And any concerns about motivation after back-to-back losses to end the regular season have subsided.
