The University of Toledo football team has delayed the start of its fall camp, according to a university spokesperson.
The Rockets were set to begin practices today, but instead will continue with offseason workouts.
Before opening fall camp, the team will await word from the Mid-American Conference university presidents, who are reportedly meeting Saturday to determine a future course of action for the conference's fall football season.
Toledo is scheduled to open the season at Tulsa on Sept. 5. Because of decisions from the Big Ten and Northeast Conference respectively, Toledo's game at Michigan State and home against Central Connecticut State have been canceled.
