The University of Toledo football team added a dual-threat quarterback to its 2021 class today when 3-star prospect Elijah Wesley decommitted from Miami (OH) and committed to Toledo.
Wesley, at 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds from Canton McKinley High School, had pledged to Miami in early April before flipping to Toledo today.
According to 247Sports, Wesley is the 58th ranked prospect in Ohio and the 48th dual-threat quarterback prospect in the nation.
Wesley is the first quarterback in Toledo's 2021 class and is the seventh-ranked recruit in the class. Toledo currently ranks second in the Mid-American Conference composite rankings behind Miami for the top class in the conference.
