TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo baseball team hosted in-state foe Wright State on Wednesday and fell to the Raiders by a score of 18-4.
A day after plating 18 runs at Youngstown State, the Rockets (15-17) were on the wrong end of a slugfest vs. Wright State (17-16). The Raiders scored two runs in the first and a run in the second to take an early lead, then plated five runs in the top of the third to blow the game open. Toledo put up a crooked number in the bottom of the fourth, scoring three runs, but couldn't keep pace with Wright State's offense on Wednesday.
