TOLEDO, OH – Toledo suffered a 68-58 setback to Ball State on Saturday in its regular-season finale before 4,267 fans in Savage Arena. With the loss, the Rockets fall to 17-12 overall, 12-6 in the Mid-American Conference.
UT will now be the No. 4 seed in next week's MAC Tournament and play the winner of No. 5 seed Akron (17-12, 11-7 MAC) and No. 12 seed Miami (9-20, 3-15 MAC) in the quarterfinals on Wednesday, March 9 at approximately 2:30 p.m. in Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
Senior Brenae Harris paced Toledo with a contest-tying best 22 points on 'Senior Day' against the Cardinals (21-8, 13-5 MAC), followed by sophomore Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott with 12 points and a career-tying high eight boards.
