TOLEDO, Ohio. – The Toledo men's tennis team fell to Mid-American Conference opponent Ball State, 5-2, on Thursday at the UT Varsity Tennis Courts. The loss snapped the Rockets' eight-match home winning streak.
The Cardinals (10-7, 2-2 MAC) took a 1-0 lead after grabbing the doubles point with a 6-3 win on the No. 1 court and a 6-4 victory on the No. 2 court.
In singles play, Ball State extended its lead to 2-0 after earning a win over on the No. 3 court. On the No. 5 court, put Toledo (9-7, 3-3 MAC) on the board with a 6-4, 6-1 victory and cut Ball State's lead in half, 2-1.
