MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Toledo suffered an 85-47 setback at Central Michigan on Saturday in McGuirk Arena. With the loss, the Rockets fall to 15-10 overall, 6-7 in the Mid-American Conference.
Senior Jay-Ann Bravo-Harriott led UT with 14 points, followed closely by redshirt freshman Tanaya Beacham and junior Kaayla McIntyre with 12 points each.
The Rockets struggled to put the ball in the basket against the MAC West Division leading Chippewas (20-3, 12-0 MAC), connecting on 29.6 percent (21-of-71) from the field, including 16.7 percent (4-of-24) from three-point land, and 50.0 percent (1-of-2) from the charity stripe.
