MORGANTOWN, W. Va. - The Toledo women's tennis team fell to West Virginia, 7-0, in Morgantown, W. Va. on Sunday.
"We competed well today against a really solid West Virginia team," said head coach . "I know we are capable of pulling out big wins and I'm confident that this group will do that as the season progresses."
The Rockets dropped the doubles point, despite senior /sophomore 6-3 win over Anne-Sophie Courteau/Kat Lyman on the No. 1 court.
In singles action, Carney battled through three sets on No. 2 court, but fell short of posting a point for the Rockets.
