EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Toledo women's tennis team put Michigan State to the test, but could not overcome the Spartans in a 5-2 loss in East Lansing on Friday night.
"We play a tough non-conference schedule for a reason," head coach said. "I want to push the team early on so that we can feel pressure and be able to execute under it. We had some great singles performances, but not across the board. We will get better from this match."
After MSU took the doubles point, senior won a quick two-setter from the No. 4 court to tie the match at 1-1.
