TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo baseball team extended its winning streak to 11 games on Wednesday with a 6-4 victory over Miami.
A four-run bottom of the sixth erased a 4-1 deficit for the Rockets (26-17, 17-11 MAC) and propelled them to their 11th straight win, the longest winning streak since 2011 when the team also won 11 games in a row.
"We played another solid ballgame today," head coach Rob Reinstetle said. "It all starts on the mound and Connor Brandon was excellent today, probably the best he has thrown in a Rocket uniform.
