LEESBURG, Fla. – Senior pitcher Erin Hunt fanned a school-record 15 batters on Sunday evening, but Toledo ended up on the short end of a 4-2 (8 inn.) decision against New Mexico State (9-10) in its final contest of The Spring Games. The Rockets (6-5) dropped a 9-1 (5 inn.) decision earlier in the day to FGCU and finished the tournament with a 3-3 record.
"We got a great game from Erin in Game 2 but made a few mistakes and hit into some bad luck," said Head Coach Joe Abraham about the Rockets' loss to the Aggies.
