BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Toledo softball team dropped both ends of a doubleheader to Buffalo on Saturday in Buffalo, N.Y. The Rockets fell 21-14 in game one and dropped an 8-2 contest in the final game of the twin bill.
In game one, Toledo (13-26, 6-12 MAC) recorded five home runs, the ninth game this season with multiple homers. Senior outfielder hit a pair of homers and junior shortstop blasted her first career long ball. The Rockets also tallied 12 hits, the 15 game this season they have had double-figure hits and their fifth game with 10-plus runs.
