West Lafayette, IN – Toledo men's tennis dropped a 7-0 battle against Big Ten's Purdue in West Lafayette, IN on Saturday evening. The Rockets fall to 0-1 on the season, while the Boilermakers improve to 2-0.
"Purdue was tough competition," said head coach Al Wermer. "However, we can play better. We will play better. These guys expect more out of themselves and I know they will get there."
The Rocket pair of Serjen Olmedo and Luka Vitosevic defeated Purdue's Lucas Dages and Mateus Silva 5-3 in the No. 3 doubles spot.
