TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo dominated the courts of Twos Athletic Center by posting a 10-1 overall record on day one of the Rocket Invitational. The Rockets went 4-0 in doubles play against Cleveland State and 6-1 in singles play against Bowling Green.
"This team continues to improve every time they step on the court," head coach Tracy Mauntler said. "They are such competitors, and they thrive with pressure. To be 10-1 against the competition we faced today is impressive."
Toledo opened the two-day tournament against Cleveland State in doubles competition, and every Rocket duo won their match.
