BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The University of Toledo men's tennis team wrapped up its weekend in New York on Sunday with a 7-0 win over Binghamton.
"This completes a solid weekend for us," head coach Al Wermer said. "Binghamton is always energetic. Our guys competed very well and stayed on task."
Toledo secured its second straight Mid-American Conference win with the 7-0 decision on Sunday.
The Rockets obtained the doubles point by winning on the No. 2 and 3 courts, with freshman Wojciech Szczesny and sophomore Krzysztof Wetoszka defeating their Bearcat counterparts 6-0 on the third court and freshman Adam Kovac and senior Thawin Suksathaporn claiming a victory on the second court, 6-4.
