Toledo dominated by Appalachian State in Dollar General Bowl

MOBILE, Ala. - The University of Toledo football team lost 34-0 to Appalachian State on Saturday night in the Dollar General Bowl at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.

UT senior quarterback Logan Woodside was 16-of-29 passing for 124 yards and three interceptions.Senior running back Terry Swanson carried 11 times for 44 yards.

Appalachian State’s Jalin Moore rushed for 125 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries. Taylor Lamb was 8-of-14 passing for 131 yards.

With just more than five minutes left in the first quarter, Appalachian State’s Anthony Flory intercepted a Woodside pass, setting up the Mountaineers with the ball at the Toledo 36-yard line.
