Frank Okam, who coached the defensive line the past two seasons, has taken a position with the Houston Texans.
It’s a full-circle moment for Okam, who played at the University of Texas and was drafted by the Texans in 2008. He will be the assistant defensive line coach for Houston.
Okam and Texans defensive line coach Rod Wright were college teammates. Okam and head coach Demeco Ryan were teammates with the Texans.
The 39-year-old Okam previously coached with the Las Vegas Raiders and Carolina Panthers.
At Toledo, he helped develop Darius Alexander into a top-100 draft prospect.
