The University of Toledo men’s basketball team continued its cruise through the Mid-American Conference on Friday night.
The first-place Rockets saw a 19-point lead cut to four with 5:12 left against Akron, but held on for an 83-74 victory at Savage Arena against the third-place team in the conference to extend their winning streak to eight games.
“We can't win these games without [the fans],” Ra’Heim Moss said. “We feel that energy, when we're down or whether we're up, we need all that energy and all that impact to help us keep us going. We really appreciate that and we hope it continues.
