The University of Toledo is down another difference maker.
Cornerback RJ Delancy III announced on Monday that he is transferring to Wisconsin, where he will have two seasons of eligibility.
It’s a huge blow to Toledo’s secondary, which is already losing fellow cornerback Chris McDonald and safety Zachary Ford. Cornerback Quinyon Mitchell is expected to declare for the NFL draft.
“He’s been highly productive in his time on the field, whether it’s playing nickel, playing corner, or playing in the kicking game,” Toledo coach Jason Candle said in October. “He’s a problem covering kicks. You have to account for that guy.
