CLEVELAND, Ohio – The University of Toledo women's tennis team saw its seven-match winning streak end with a 4-3 loss to Cincinnati Saturday evening.
and won at No. 1 doubles, but Cincinnati pulled out victories at No. 2 and No. 3 by a 6-2 margin to win the doubles team point.
Alcala, Teske and each won on their respective courts in two sets, but Cincinnati won at No. 6 in two sets in addition to posting three-set victories at No. 3 and No. 5 singles to secure the win.
"I am so proud of the battle my players put up in singles," head coach said.
