TEMPE, Ariz. – The Toledo women's volleyball team captured the Webb-Burbridge Classic title with a three-set sweep of tournament host Arizona State on Saturday.
The Rockets' win over the Sun Devils was their first over a Power Five program since 2010 when the team defeated Michigan. Toledo held Arizona State to a .138 attack percentage in Saturday's win.
"This is a great first weekend for our program," head coach Jason Oliver said. "I am happy with the entire team's contribution to three tough wins. We are on the right track and really look forward to seeing this team grow every day.
