Hitting the road for two straight games to open the season has helped the University of Toledo men's basketball team come together and start building chemistry early in the season.
The Rockets fell 79-77 in the season opener at Valparaiso but bounced back with a 96-70 victory at Marshall and will now return home for games on Saturday and Sunday against Robert Morris and Howard, respectively.
“We are starting to gel really well,” Toledo junior guard Spencer Littleson said. “We're working out some kinks and everything we are used to in the beginning of a season. .
