The accolades keep rolling in for Chris Meyers.
The Toledo first baseman was named a third team All-American by Collegiate Baseball one day after earning Mid-American Conference player of the year honors.
Meyers is the first Rocket to make Collegiate Baseball’s All-America team since Mitch Maier in 2003, and he’s the first UT player to make any All-America team since Ross Adolph (Van Buren High School) in 2018.
Meyers tied school records with 15 home runs while batting .378 with 55 runs batted in, leading the MAC in all three categories. He is the league’s first triple crown winner since Marshall’s Tom Kuempel in 1998.
