The University of Toledo baseball team lost its opening round Mid-American Conference tournament game as Central Michigan topped the Rockets 7-6 on Wednesday at Sprenger Stadium in Avon, Ohio.
The Chippewas, the No. 4 seed, were walk-off winners when junior Blake Cleveland laid down a bunt that allowed a runner on third to score.
Toledo, the No. 5 seed, will return to action Thursday at 10 a.m. in an elimination game against Eastern Michigan.
