After playing an instant classic in 2016 in Provo, the University of Toledo football team will host a return game against BYU this Saturday at the Glass Bowl.
When the teams met for the first time ever in 2016, BYU used a last-second field goal to win a wild 55-53 game that featured a whole lot of BYU running back Jamaal Williams and an aerial onslaught from Toledo quarterback Logan Woodside.
While a lot of the players from that game have moved on, Toledo coach Jason Candle said he learned BYU has an identity as a football team that is similar to what he sees in his team.
