BOSTON, Mass. - University of Toledo head coach Tod Kowalczyk has been named a finalist for the Skip Prosser Man of the Year award for a third-straight season.
Kowalczyk has guided the Rockets to a 25-6 overall record, a win total that is tied for third in program history. Toledo also has become the first current Mid-American Conference program to ever win three outright league titles. In addition, UT's 72 victories over the last three years rank 10th nationally.
Kowalczyk and the Rockets will bring a school-record 15-game winning streak into this week's MAC Tournament, an unbeaten stretch that is tied for first in the nation.
