INDIANAPOLIS — All ears were on Quinyon Mitchell on Thursday at the NFL scouting combine.
All eyes will be on the former University of Toledo cornerback during workouts Friday and Saturday. The previous month — since Mitchell’s star turn at the Senior Bowl — every NFL voice has shared an opinion about the first round’s biggest riser.
The judgments have been universally popular.
“Cornerback is a stopwatch position, and Mitchell definitely checks that box with 4.3 speed,” said Dane Brugler of The Athletic, one of the most respected draft analysts. “But, the two most impressive parts of his game on tape are his no-panic play style and ability to get his hands on the football.
