During the NFL draft Thursday, don’t expect the Toledo Rockets to make a cameo in the highlight montage for presumptive No. 2 overall pick Zach Wilson.
The opposite is true inside the cornerbacks meeting room at the University of Wisconsin, where former UT cornerbacks coach Hank Poteat uses the Toledo-Brigham Young game in 2019 as a teaching tool for his players.
“I make sure my guys understand that their job is to make it tough for the quarterback and not allow him to have easy throws,” said Poteat, who left UT for Wisconsin in February. “He has to be able to put that ball in tight places.
