TOLEDO, Ohio – Sophomore Taylor Alt has been named MAC West Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
This marks the second straight week Alt has won the award and the third time this season.
Alt had another terrific offensive weekend, averaging 5.22 kills/set while hitting .297 in two matches against Western Michigan. In Friday's hard-fought, five-set match against the Broncos, Alt tallied a season-high 26 kills and hit .296. The next day, she led the charge in Toledo's four-set victory, registering 21 kills and 14 digs for her seventh double-double of the season.
