NASSAU, Bahamas - University of Toledo coach Jason Candle has had a bit of a whirlwind of a day, waking up early in the Bahamas to news of players that had signed their national letters of intent during the first day of the early signing period.
After his team went through a brisk morning walkthrough in preparation for the Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl, Candle reflected on how hectic his day had already been.
“It was a rat race this morning,” Candle said. “It’s obviously a quick turnaround this morning as it is at home as well. But you have practice, you have meetings, you have 110 guys you have to get to where they are supposed to be.
