TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo women's basketball team had one of its best shooting performances of the season in Wednesday's 74-64 win over Miami.
The game was played at 2:00 p.m. instead of 7:00 p.m. as previously scheduled due to impending inclement weather in the Toledo area. Despite the time change and the early start on a weekday, nearly 3,000 fans attended Wednesday's contest.
The Rockets (16-4, 10-1 MAC) shot 54.2 percent from the field, making 26-of-48 shots against the RedHawks (6-12, 2-7 MAC), their second-highest field-goal percentage of the season. UT's offensive efficiency helped land five players in double figures, led by junior Quinesha Lockett and her 18 points.
