University of Toledo seniors Luke Knapke and Willie Jackson each took different paths to Toledo, but as they prepare for senior day on Friday night against Eastern Michigan, each has impacted the Rockets program in a significant way.
Knapke is a fifth-year player who came to Toledo from Maria Stein Marion Local High School as a wide-eyed freshman who needed to put on weight.
A redshirt season allowed Knapke to get a jump on building up his strength and also allowed him to observe and learn from one of the best centers in Toledo history in Nathan Boothe.
