MUNCIE, Ind. – Sophomore scored a quick goal for Toledo two minutes after back-to-back Ball State goals in the second half, but the Rockets couldn't score the equalizer in a 2-1 loss to the Cardinals on Thursday afternoon at the Briner Sports Complex.
Following a scoreless first half, three goals were scored in the first 10 minutes after halftime. The Cardinals scored in the 49 and 51 minutes, but sophomore got the Rockets on the board with a goal in the 53 minute. The Rockets threatened with five shots in the final 10 minutes but could not tally another goal to tie the match.
