In his first game in front of the University of Toledo home crowd, redshirt freshman guard Keshaun Saunders delivered with 18 points off the bench to key a 70-56 Rockets win over Robert Morris on Saturday afternoon at Savage Arena.
Saunders was 5-for-9 from the field, 2-for-2 from the 3-point line, and 6-for-6 from the foul line in his 13 minutes off the bench as the Rockets picked up their second win of the season.
“It felt good just to be back out there after not playing for about a year and a half,” Saunders said “Just being able to go out there and sweat and run up and down was a good feeling.
