TOLEDO, OH - Senior Sathika Ruenreong (Kanchanaburi, Thailand) was named the Mid-American Conference Women's Golfer of the Week on Thursday after leading Toledo to a school-record tying fourth tournament title of the season last weekend . Ruenreong is receiving the honor for the third time this season and on the ninth occasion in her collegiate career.
A three-time first-team All-MAC honoree, Ruenreong carded a five-over par 293 in the final round and finished just one stroke behind medalist Hanna Lee of Xavier, who posted a one-over par 217 (71-70-76). She topped all individuals on the par-five holes at five-under par, posting an average score of 4.
