Toledo, Ohio— Toledo outfielder Ross Adolph was selected by the New York Mets in the 12th round of the MLB Draft on Wednesday.
"Today has been surreal," Adolph said. "I can't say enough how blessed I am to have spent three years at Toledo. My coaches have guided me and helped make me a batter baseball player and I owe a lot to them. Today has been crazy and I'm excited to be a member of the Mets organization."
The Findlay, Ohio native spent the day with family, friends, and teammates when he learned he was selected by the Mets.
