Toledo, Ohio— Former University of Toledo baseball player Ross Adolph was selected to represent the Brooklyn Cyclones in the New York-Penn League (NYPL) All-Star Game.
Adolph was one of six Cyclones' players selected to the South All-Stars and one of three to be named a starter. The Findlay native leads the team with a .769 OPS and ranks second in the NYPL with seven triples. In 39 games for the New York Mets' Class A short season affiliate, Adolph has driven in 21 runs and tallied 38 hits, 14 of which have gone for extra bases.
