CLEVELAND, Ohio – Toledo women's swimming and diving freshman Rosie Richards earned her first-ever Mid-American Conference (MAC) Swimmer of the Week award, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Richards recorded four first-place finishes in her individual events in a two-meet weekend against Marshall (Jan. 10) and MAC opponent Miami (Jan. 11). The freshman took wins in the 1000 freestyle (10:35.06) and the 500 free (5:10.72) over Marshall. Against Miami, Richards won the 200 freestyle (1:54.48) and the 500 freestyle (5:11.19).
The Farnham, England native was also a member of the second-place 200 freestyle relay (1:36.
