TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo baseball team concluded its weekend series vs. Ohio with a 5-2 loss to the Bobcats on Sunday afternoon at Scott Park.
The Rockets (14-16, 6-9 MAC) scored the first run of the game on Sunday, but couldn't string together another productive offensive inning until the seventh. By then the Bobcats (13-15, 11-4 MAC) had scored five runs and had taken a lead they would not relinquish.
Freshmen Troy Sudbrook and Wesley Parker both went 2-for-4 on the afternoon, accounting for four of Toledo's seven hits. Junior Jeron Williams reached base twice and stole two bases to bring his MAC-leading total to 24 thefts on the season.
