TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's tennis team remain an undefeated at home following a tight 4-3 victory over 2022 NCAA Division II national runner up Wayne State on Thursday at Shadow Valley Tennis Club. The victory was the third straight for the Rockets (4-2), who are 3-0 at home this season. Wayne State (2-1) suffered its first defeat of the season.
"This was a hard-fought battle against a team that could quite likely win the D-II National Championships," head coach Al Wermer said. "Our guys buckled up their helmets after we lost the doubles point.
