GROVE CITY, Ohio – Toledo posted the low number of the day in Monday's second round with a 17-over par 305 to close the gap behind first-place Kent State to just two strokes at the Mid-American Conference Women's Golf Championships. The Rockets, who entered the day nine strokes behind the Golden Flashes, are at 34-over par through 36 holes at the par-72, 6,201-yard Pinnacle Golf Club.
"We managed the golf course and ourselves well again today, staying in the present and playing one hole at a time," Head Coach Jenny Coluccio said. "We had our share of adversity today, and the team responded with grace and patience allowing them to bounce back.
