MORGANTOWN, W. Va. - The Toledo women's tennis team opened their weekend in Morgantown, W. Va. with a 6-1 win over Towson on Saturday.
"I'm proud of how hard the women are playing this early in the season," said head coach . "Playing with five is definitely tough, but these women haven't let it define them and they continue to grind for each other."
The Rockets opened play by taking the doubles point. Senior /sophomore swept their opponents, 6-0, on the No. 1 court and junior / freshman defeated their opponents, 6-1, on the No. 2 court.
