DEKALB, Ill. – The Toledo baseball team captured another road win at Northern Illinois on Saturday, defeating the Huskies 7-4.
The Rockets (22-24, 10-13 MAC) got off to a hot start on Saturday, taking a 6-0 lead through four innings. Northern Illinois got on the board in the bottom of the fifth and put up a crooked number in the bottom of the ninth, but it was not enough to overcome Toledo's hitting and pitching.
In what has been a record-breaking offensive season for the Rockets, they broke another school record on Saturday.
