CHICAGO, Ill. – Senior clinched match point for the Toledo men's tennis team in a 5-2 victory at Chicago State on Saturday night. The win improved UT's record to 5-5 on the season.
Freshman won the first match of the season, in a quick 6-0, 6-1 decision from the No. 6 spot. Junior put the Rockets at match point from his two-set victory at the No. 2 spot, and Galic delivered the clincher, a three-set decision over Pedro Alvarez from the No. 1 court.
Chicago State took back-to-back matches at the No. 3 and No. 4 courts, but sophomore had the last victory of the evening.
