SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The University of Toledo baseball team ended its weekend on a high note, defeating Wofford 9-6 on Sunday afternoon.
"It feels so good to back into the win column," head coach Rob Reinstetle said. "Today the boys responded in a big way. The offense did a great job of continuing to score and put us in a position to win. We got some great performances on the mound. Layne Schnitz-Paxton was outstanding out of the pen and gave us everything he had, then Cal McAninch came in and shut the door.
