MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Toledo women's volleyball team won its third straight match on Saturday, taking down Central Michigan in four sets.
After losing the first set (25-16), the Rockets came back and dominated the second set (25-11) to even the match at 1-1. UT used a late surge to win the third set (25-19) to go up 2-1 in the match before winning a thrilling fourth set (27-25) to end the match.
"What a hard-fought win against a well-coached team," head coach said. "We really had to dig deep to find good play. Our team was focused and really responded well to losing that first set.
