OXFORD, Ohio – The Toledo women's volleyball team improved to 4-1 in MAC play on Thursday with a three-set sweep of Miami.
Fifth-year senior Ryann Jaqua reached an impressive milestone on Thursday, becoming the second Rocket ever to reach 2,000 career digs. Jaqua led all players with 22 digs. The longtime back row stalwart has 2,007 career digs, which puts her seventh among active Division I players in career digs.
Backed by the play of Jaqua, Toledo had no problem dispatching Miami on Thursday night. It marked the second straight season the Rockets defeated the RedHawks, the first time they have won back-to-back matches in the series since winning three in a row from 2004-06.
