TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo baseball team trailed 8-3 after seven innings, but scored six times in the eighth and once more in the 10th for a thrilling 10-9 victory over Eastern Michigan at Scott Park Friday afternoon.
The Rockets (21-25, 14-11 MAC), who have come back to win from at least five runs down three times this season, sent the Eagles (13-30, 8-14 MAC) to their 11th straight loss. It was also Toledo's third extra-inning victory of the season.
"From being up, then falling way behind, to battling back to take the lead and having to walk it off, that game was quite a range of emotions," said Head Coach Rob Reinstetle.
