SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – The Toledo men's basketball program spent its first full day in Puerto Rico sightseeing and experiencing the culture of Old San Juan. Players and staff visited several historic landmarks, including the Castillo San Cristobal that is considered the largest fortress built in the Americas.
"It's been a lot of fun," junior AJ Edu said. "I've been to a lot of places, but I've never been to this part of the world. It's a cool experience with nice weather and a chance for us to learn about a different culture."
The Rockets were originally scheduled to arrive in Puerto Rico on Friday afternoon but their flight was canceled.
