TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's soccer team broke through for two second-half goals in a 2-0 Mid-American Conference victory over Miami at Paul Hotmer Field on Sunday.
The Rockets (5-6-3, 2-3-2 MAC, 8 Pts.) got goals from senior in the 70th minute and an insurance tally from junior in the 81st minute. Toledo held Miami (5-4-5, 1-3-3, 6 Pts.) to just three shots on goal to record the shutout.
Dault scored her second goal of the season and Whitehead her first. Senior finished with an assist on Dault's goal, her fourth of the season, while assisted Whitehead's goal for her third helper of the season.
